5 Ways to Get Creative and Make Money Online by Writing

Are you creative? Please don't say "No" -- we're all creative, and you can use your creativity to make money online by writing. Let's look at 5 ways you can do this by using Blogger and Squidoo, two free tools.
Firstly, before we get started discussing these creative ways, let's answer two questions I'm often asked:
Q: "How much does it cost to get started making money online by writing?"
A: Nothing at all, if you use free online applications like Blogger and Squidoo. These tools are easy to use, and as stated, they're FREE.
Q: "How much money can you make?"
A: More than you think. For example, a Squidoo lensmaster recently created a lens reporting that he'd had his first $1000 dollar month with one lens (a "lens" is a page on Squidoo). That's one thousand dollars, in one month, on ONE lens.
Let's look at the five ways.
1. Write About Things You Love and Make Money
What do you love? I love dogs, so I created a blog in honor of my Jack Russell terrier, Honey. I also love writing, so I have many, many writing blogs and lenses.
Make a list of things you love, then check Google's Blog Search. I'm sure that whatever's on your list, others are blogging about that topic already -- you can too.
2. Write About Things You Hate and Make Money
What do you hate? You can blog and/ or create Squidoo lenses about anything which raises your ire, from littering to global warming.
3. Share Your Life and Make Money
People love to people watch, that's why reality TV shows are so popular. They love to read about others' lives on their blogs, too. If you're comfortable writing about your life, you can make money. Your life doesn't have to be spectacular either, you just need to write about it in an interesting way.
4. Learn Something New and Make Money
What have you learned over the past year or two? Have you learned how to cook, how to knit or how to use your digital camera? Share what you've learned with others. You can even take up a hobby or learn something new in order to blog or create a lens about it.
5. Change Your Life and Make Money
Will 2009 be the year you lose weight for good? Will you pay off all your debts? There are thousands of people blogging about their weight loss journey, and the trials and tribulations of getting out of debt. Whatever life changes you want to make, others want to make them too, and will read your blog or lens.
